Ayce is a miracle!  He was born with his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck and his arm.  He was not breathing.  He didn’t have a heartbeat.  He was revived after 36 minutes of tireless work from the staff at the small hospital I delivered him at, and was immediately airlifted to a major Children’s Hospital.  He has received top-notch care from the moment he was born, and we are so grateful for everyone who has been in his short life so far. He has Cerebral Palsy resulting from Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (birth trauma) and he is the bravest person I know.

Taking a well-deserved rest

  1. A miracle indeed! He’s absolutely charming. Maybe my little brother Yasin, who also has cerebral palsy will meet him one day. He’ll be ecstatic if he ever does, being very empathic and being able to see the beauty of your son.
